Introducing some long-overdue changes at Herb on the Street
Dear Subscribers,
Some big news...
After more than a year of development and fine-tuning, I’m thrilled to introduce you to my new members-only platform, On the Street, featuring my popular Red Flag Alerts.
My special introductory price is $250 a year.
On the Street is a culmination of my 50 years reporting on, writing about and researching stocks, companies, the markets and virtually any and every industry.
I spent much of my career as a financial journalist and also co-founded two short-biased research firms. I even spent a year working at a risk arbitrage firm.
My Professional Passion
This is what I do. This is what I love. If there’s such a thing as true passion, professionally, this is it.
It’s in my DNA to fly red flags, but I like flying a few green ones, too... while poking holes in conventional wisdom and going out of my way not to follow the herd.
Most of all, I like using facts and figures to tell stories, with a goal of not boring you in the process.
There are lots research reports out there; not all of them are fun to read.
I figure if I have fun writing it, you will enjoy reading it... and hopefully either make money or avoid losing it along the way.
Plus, if you’re trying to learn about investing, my Red Flags are a great way to study the realities of risks… when they matter and when they don’t.

Risk Management
The reason to invest is to make money, but ignoring the risk is foolhardy. As Warren Buffett put it: Rule No 1 – Don’t Lose Money. Rule 2 – Don’t forget rule No. 1.
Let’s avoid losing money together. And let’s make some, too.
I hope you’ll subscribe!
