Worst CEO of the Century?
When I named Mike Jeffries 'Worst CEO of the Year' in 2013, sex-trafficking allegations weren't even part of the picture.

Here’s a fun one…
When I heard the news yesterday that former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries had been charged with running a sex-trafficking ring, I thought, “Didn’t I name him worst CEO of the year at some point?”
Indeed I did, back in 2013 as part of a long-running series I did every year while I was a journalist.
When Jeffries won the title, it was because of his dismal performance as CEO, which as you can see in this CNBC video, I felt fairly strong about.
With this latest news, I’d say maybe instead of Worst CEO of the Year, he’s now in the running for worst CEO of the Century.
If convicted, he’d surely be a worthy contender.
